We went to Critterfest today, along with everyone else in Lubbock. Julia had such a quiet, content attitude watching all the animals and nodding in agreement when we would name animals and talk about what they did. She willingly, yet gently, pet chicks, ducklings and rabbits. Her body stiffened while looking at the camels. She clapped and hollered for the tigers at the show!
