On Grandparents Day, we took Nana and Papa to the Apple Butter Festival. We got to pick lots of tasty apples, see animals, talk to Johnny Appleseed, shop for homemade goods and of course, take pictures! It was super hot (the morning started out cool...hence, Julia's leg warmers that she wouldn't take off and ended up around her ankles) ~actually, the temperature was cooler than normal, but the humidity caught up with us. It made Julia's hair much curlier. When we got back to the house, Nana and Papa made us their yummy yummy yummy Apple Dumplings. Thank you so much for baking for us and trying something new with us!
