Having Julia these past 18 months has been such a blessing. She reminds us everyday of how important life itself is and that nurturing a family is one of the best ways to live. It's definitely not perfect, but we strive to be happy and peaceful while remembering that teaching and learning simplicity and gratefulness is powerful. Julia laughs a lot. She is interested in a lot. She is curious. She likes to figure things out. She wants her "ma" glued to her and her "da" to keep her squealing with laughter...yet learning what "no, no" means all the while. Julia really likes books (especially Brown Bear, Brown Bear and books of the like), animals, Simon ("Dat") and Charlie ("Darla"), her baby dolls, bubbles, fish, play doh, markers, music and dancing, Curious George (probably because they speak the same language), slides, sniffing flowers, honey and ketchup.
