We went to feed the ducks and geese the other evening. Julia readily identifies ducks and says "duck" every time she spies one, so we figured she would get a kick out of feeding them! As soon as we drove up to the edge of the parking lot, they started swarming our vehicle...hmmm, poor things know what's coming! Julia wasn't afraid at all. She even got the hang of throwing (at first, she just wanted to let them gobble it from her hand)! After the bread was gone, we started walking around with the ducks and geese, and they all headed out to the water. Julia wanted to go with them, jabbering and following along behind them like she was one of them. It was so funny. She surely enjoyed the visit, and we'll be back to see them again!
