Well, Julia has had a lot going in her 6 months of LIFE!
* She started day care...now has had 2 colds - YUCK! Baby Boogers are not fun to deal with.
* She started sitting up at 5 months and is slowly getting better!
* She rolls all over the floor and hollers when she stays on her belly too long.
* Has her mom wrapped around her little finger! (I love it, but I know it'll be my demise at some point.)
* Every day she is more and more interactive and fun to be with!
* Babbling with consonants comes and goes - we've heard her randomly say "mama" and "dad"
* She ate rice cereal for 4 weeks and did NOT like it - so much for that "first bite"
* She started oatmeal this past week and LOVES it!
* Her 6 month check up revealed the following: 15 lbs even (dropped to the 40th %ile), 25.5'' long
* We have to start supplementing with a little formula to get her weight up
* 6 Months of Breastmilk only - woohoo :O)
* She smiles and laughs at Charlie (our dog) ALL THE TIME.
* She likes to try to pet Simon (our cat) and Charlie by grabbing hair and pulling hard! (they are so good with her so far...yay!)
* Has acquired nicknames that will probably stick from Daddy and Mama: Ju-Bu and Julia-Lou/Luli-lu
* Loves to hear us sing made up songs like: Julia-luli-lu, Julia-luli-li, Julia-luli-lu All On a Saturday Nite...
* Loves the mirror and hearing goofy noises come out of our mouths
* Loves finding tags on her toys and sucking on them!
*** We like putting this info up on the blog more so for ourselves so we can publish these "memories" in a book when she turns a year old! ***
